This pages describes how to crosscompile programs for the Synology DS213
(crosscompiling means you compile software without installing a compiler on the NAS itself)
Prerequisites
You need any x86 based computer with any Linux distribution installed
Download the toolchain (gcc421-glibc25-88f6281.tar.gz)
Extract the toolchain to /usr/local
Set the PATH accordingly (export PATH="$PATH:/usr/local/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/bin"
